Day 1

Kick off your 2 days in Miami vacation with a satisfying breakfast at News Café on Ocean Drive. This quaint café was Italian designer Gianni Versace’s go-to spot for a morning cappuccino or newspaper. It’s also a great date spot or morning after a Miami bachelorette party idea!

After breakfast, stroll along Ocean Drive and explore the Art Deco Welcome Center and The Villa Casa Casuarina Hotel. (Previously known as the Versace Mansion, it’s the 3rd most photographed house in the country!)

Time to rest your feet as you discover Biscayne Bay with Miami SpeedBoat Tours! In this exhilarating, speed boat tour Miami with Captain Mike is one of the best ways to see a lot of Miami in a limited amount of time. If you only have 2 days in Miami, this is a must-do adventure. As he takes you along the coast, Mike will take you on a Star Island tour and show you luxurious celebrity mansions, as well as answer any questions you have about Miami Beach. He’ll also point out the filming locations for shows like Burn Notice, CSI: Miami, and the classic 80s series Miami Vice.

Keep your eye out for dolphins! At the end of the hour-and-a-half tour, you won’t want to get off the boat, and you’ll know more about Miami than many locals do! SpeedBoat Tours’ private boat tours in Miami have been covered in CNN and international travel shows for our exhilarating, one-of-a-kind tours! There’s no way all that walking and time on the water didn’t make you hungry! Stop for lunch at The Lobster Shack, where you can enjoy lobster every way imaginable. If you’re looking for some great Instagram shots after, head to South Pointe Park and the boardwalk that leads out to South Pointe Park Pier

During your 2 days in Miami, be sure to snap a selfie with one of the colorful, eye-catching lifeguard stands along the sands of South Beach as well!

Still have some energy left? Unwind with happy hour and waterfront views at Monty’s Sunset at SoBe Marina or Smith & Wollensky’s. Sip some wine or eat dinner while you listen to the waves and watch an unforgettable Miami sunset.

Day 2

On the morning of Day 2 in Miami Beach, grab a Cuban-style breakfast at one of the three South Beach locations of Havana 1957. Be sure to try a cafecito (Cuban coffee)! We’re warning you, though: you’ll never be satisfied with a cup of automatic drip-brew ever again! You’ll feel like you stepped back in time as you take in the sights and flavors of this authentic Cuban restaurant.

After breakfast, it’s time to hit the beach! Play in the surf, work on your tan, or just people-watch while enjoying the clear waters of “SoBe” (South Beach). Maybe even hop on a boat again for a Miami Sandbar tour. Curb your hunger with a life-changing sandwich from La Sandwicherie, just a short walk from the ocean. Our favorites there are the Sobe Club and the Frenchie!

Spend your afternoon walking and browsing the shops along Collins Avenue. You’ll end up at Lincoln Road Mall, a long, pedestrian, open-air mall with restaurants, bars, and shops. Tired and hot from all the walking? Grab a mojito and cool off at the Lincoln Road location of Havana 1957. (Yes, you should visit this restaurant twice during your two-day stay.)
