Can’t afford a week in Miami Beach? Sample this vibrant city in just 48 hours: two days of the best food, activities, and sightseeing in South Florida!
Day 1
Kick off your “mini vacation” to Miami Beach with a satisfying breakfast at News Café on Ocean Drive. This quaint café was Italian designer Gianni Versace’s go-to spot for a morning cappuccino or newspaper. It’s also a great date spot!

There’s no way all that walking and time on the water didn’t make you hungry! Stop for lunch at The Lobster Shack, where you can enjoy lobster every way imaginable. If you’re looking for some great Instagram shots after, head to South Pointe Park and the boardwalk that leads out to South Pointe Park Pier.

Be sure to snap a selfie with one of the colorful, eye-catching lifeguard stands along the sands of South Beach as well!

Still have some energy left? Unwind with happy hour and waterfront views at Monty’s Sunset at SoBe Marina or Smith & Wollensky’s. Sip some wine or eat dinner while you listen to the waves and watch an unforgettable Miami sunset.
Day 2
On the morning of Day 2 in Miami Beach, grab a Cuban-style breakfast at one of the three South Beach locations of Havana 1957. Be sure to try a cafecito (Cuban coffee)! We’re warning you, though: you’ll never be satisfied with a cup of automatic drip-brew ever again! You’ll feel like you stepped back in time as you take in the sights and flavors of this authentic Cuban restaurant.
After breakfast, it’s time to hit the beach! Play in the surf, work on your tan, or just people-watch while enjoying the clear waters of “SoBe” (South Beach). Curb your hunger with a life-changing sandwich from La Sandwicherie, just a short walk from the ocean. Our favorites there are the Sobe Club and the Frenchie!

Spend your afternoon walking and browsing the shops along Collins Avenue. You’ll end up at Lincoln Road Mall, a long, pedestrian, open-air mall with restaurants, bars, and shops. Tired and hot from all the walking? Grab a mojito and cool off at the Lincoln Road location of Havana 1957. (Yes, you should visit this restaurant twice during your two-day stay.)

For dinner, celebrate with a (pricey, but worth it!) steak at Meat Market on Lincoln Road. Then, take a leisurely stroll to the west and take the elevator up to Juvia for dessert or cocktails, where you can take in the amazing view and reflect on your perfect 48 hours in Miami Beach!
