March is “Music Month” in Miami!

Every year, millions of music fans flock to Miami in March to enjoy amazing music. While some of these events have been postponed this year due to COVID-19 Coronavirus concerns, they’re still worth putting on your Miami bucket list!

Jazz in the Gardens – March 14th-15th, 2020

Jazz in the Gardens Music Festival is celebrating its 15th anniversary! This year’s lineup includes renowned artists Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott, Charlie Wilson, and H.E.R. (See the full lineup here). However, like all Miami music festivals, there’s so much more to see and do in addition to enjoying the amazing music! You can compete for cash prizes by joining the National Poetry Competition. Calle Ocho Music Festival – (postponed)

Although Calle Ocho was postponed due to Coronavirus precautions, you should be on the lookout for the new dates! Miami is known worldwide for its energy, something Calle Ocho Music Festival has in spades. Party Latin and Caribbean style at Calle Ocho, the largest street festival in Miami and the largest Hispanic festival in the nation. Watch the streets of Little Havana come alive with vibrant, cultural fun for the whole family. From upbeat street music to colorful dancing lessons; mouth-watering street food to artisan vendors; there’s plenty to see and do at Calle Ocho! Don’t forget to compete for the chance to win cash prizes in El Croquetazo, the Croqueta Eating Contest! Entry to Calle Ocho is FREE and open to the public.

Ultra – (postponed to March 26, 27 & 28, 2021)

Much to the disappointment of fans, the city of Miami decided to postpone Ultra as a precaution against the spreading of Coronavirus. Despite the delay, Miami looks forward to hosting Ultra fans in 2021! Ultra is an outdoor, electronic dance music festival unlike any other. You’ll be captivated by the energy that emanates when millions of fans from around the world jam together under the lights and fireworks of the big stage.
